We’re pleased to again work with Martin Babinec, a venture capitalist and entrepreneur based in Little Falls, New York, on new projects. We redesigned websites for several organizations started and run by Martin: StartFast is a venture accelerator in Syracuse, New York; Upstate Venture Connect is a nonprofit organization that supports business innovation by fostering community and connections.
We recently launched babinec.com, Martin’s personal blog, along with UpVentures, the portfolio of Martin’s personal venture investments. Both sites were built using Zurb’s Foundation responsive framework; the Sass features of Foundation, in particular, make updates to the sites’ styles very easy to manage.
The launch of the sites coincided with the IPO of TriNet, the company Martin founded in 1988 in California and which provides human resources outsourcing to small- and medium-sized business.
