Blog » jQuery Mobile, Developing Mobile Website Course Updates

We love working with Webucator, the online and onsite technical training company. Brian Hoke has been lucky enough to present onsite training courses for Webucator and to author several courses; topics have ranged from Ruby on Rails to Sass, jQuery to CSS.

Brian Hoke is currently updating several courses he authored a few years ago. The course “Developing Mobile Websites” covers how to use HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and other tools to create responsive websites. “jQuery Mobile” covers how to use the popular JavaScript mobile framework to handle touch events, build mobile-optimized forms and widgets, incorporate HTML5 features, leverage phone capabilities such as making calls and texting, and more.

Most interesting about the current project to update both courses was to see how much has changed in such a short time. The updated “Developing Mobile Websites” course will now also cover Bootstrap, the popular responsive framework; “jQuery Mobile” will be rewritten to include the most current version of the framework. The update of both courses will be released soon.
